About IT at UNSW

The quality of our IT services to staff and students is fundamental to the successful operation of the University and its capacity to achieve its strategic objectives

IT at UNSW is in the middle of some significant changes, intended to ensure we create an IT Service Organisation that provides a cost effective UNSW-Wide consistent, responsive, secure and flexible IT service to all staff and students. We will do this by increasing the functionality, capacity and availability of services allowing more focus on providing support for Research, Teaching and Learning to provide the best possible user experience. Getting Help

The IT Service Desk is open from 8.00am until 8:00pm Monday to Friday

Governance

IT at UNSW forms part of the office of the Chief Operating Officer and is governed by the Director, IT at UNSW

Strategic Purpose

Improve aligned IT services to UNSW whilst meeting increasing demand & expectations, maintaining satisfaction levels, containing costs and protecting the University from risk.
