IT at UNSW - About Chief IT Architect's Office

The aim of the Office of the Chief IT Architect is to ensure that IT at UNSW is aligned with the strategic purpose of UNSW. This is done by providing thought leadership and frameworks to align IT and Business priorities and ensure that IT resources are used effectively.

We have a number of roles:

Business Consulting Services - general business systems consulting services to University business units.
IT Policy - development of IT Policy documents and guidelines for departments and the broader university.
Manage the IT investment plan – through key client relationships and channels needs are collected across the university, business cases are developed and presented in a framework for senior leaders to prioritise projects and budget for the year ahead.
