IT at UNSW - UniWide Wireless Coverage

The UniWide network currently covers many indoor and outdoor locations around the Kensington and Paddington (CoFA) campuses. The coverage of the UniWide service will grow significantly throughout 2008 as many more access points are added to the network.

Access to the UniWide wireless network is currently available at most lecture theatres, study areas (including the UNSW library), food halls, cafes, and outdoor areas such as the various lawns and courtyards.

How to locate UniWide hot spots

UniWide coverage points (hotspots) are indicated by UniWide logo signs around UNSW. For general information about wireless coverage and access points, refer to the UniWide Access page.

Look for these blue UniWide logo signs on walls inside food halls, above the doors to lecture theatres or on walls near outdoor base stations.
