Blender Font for UNSW Staff use

Blender is an official font for UNSW and is licensed for download and use by UNSW staff only. It is not available to students.

Downloading & Installing the Blender font

Note: You will need to enter your UNSW staff number and UniPass to download the font.

For Windows PCs

1. Download the Windows Blender fileset to your desktop

2. Double-click the new file and extract the content to your desktop.

3. Open 'My Computer' and go to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts and move all the files to this location for them to be installed

For Mac OS X

1. Download the Mac Blender fileset to your desktop and unStuffIt.

2. Locate the Fonts directory on your Mac as follows:

Open your Hard Drive then open the Library > Fonts folder. You should see all of your current fonts.

3. Open the Blender folder you just unStuffed, select ALL of the Optima files and drag and drop these into Fonts folder (Library > Fonts).

4. You will need to quit and relaunch your applications before they will recognise the new fonts

Note: if you are on a shared Mac with multiple users you may not be able to add the fonts to the central font folder as above (no admin rights). You will need to add them just for your user account. For this, add the files to this directory: Users/yourusername/Library/Fonts/. Fonts in this location are available to you only. No other other account on the machine can access them.
