Information

UNSW Instant Messaging service utilises Microsoft Lync 2010 with the following functionality:

  • Instant Messaging
  • Presence
  • Desktop Sharing
  • Mobility (Lync 2010 client on mobile devices)
  • Automatic server discovery for client configuration

Please note:
In order to use the Instant Messaging Service your account must first be enabled for this. You can use the button below to request this be carried out. You can also report any issues you experience or request the Lync application be installed to your SOE (UNSW IT Managed computer) on your behalf:
