What is Happening?
A vulnerability now referred to as the Shellshock Vulnerability has been widely reported in the media.

What is UNSW IT doing?
UNSW IT have implemented security measures against this threat and continue to monitor the situation. Assessment of UNSW public facing systems is ongoing with mitigation activities being performed on systems found to be at risk.

What do I need to do?
Whilst UNSW IT has done as much as possible to protect UNSW assets using the technology and mechanisms defined in the UNSW IT Access Security Architecture , work is ongoing and it does not guarantee complete protection.
