UNSW Web Single Sign-On

Web Single Sign-On (wSSO) is a technology that allows you to move between myUNSW, Blackboard or Moodle by only signing on once.

The UNSW Web Single Sign-On service will change the way you log into myUNSW, Blackboard and Moodle as follows:

  • myUNSW, Blackboard and Moodle have had their login fields replaced by buttons which link to the wSSO sign-on page
  • once you sign on to one of the wSSO applications, you'll be able to access the other wSSO applications without the need to sign on again
  • myUNSW, as with the other wSSO applications, will only be accessible via zPass for current students and staff. New students and staff who have recently left UNSW please see the note below.

Current staff need to use their z number in the form of z1234567 together their zPass to log into wSSO.

 

Changes to myUNSW access

Current staff and students:
Current students and staff now need to use their zPass to access myUNSW via wSSO.

Students accepting an offer at UNSW:
If you are accepting an offer and enrolling at UNSW for the first time you will need to create a UniPass and use it in myUNSW Accept Online and the application tracking function in myUNSW. Once your acceptance has been confirmed and you have enrolled in at least one class, you must create a zPass and use that for all further access to myUNSW.

Staff who have recently left UNSW:
Staff who have recently left UNSW will need to use their UniPass password to access myUNSW to access their payroll records.
